I had a lovely stay at the hotel with a beautiful view over Lake Rotorua. The rooms had a nice view of the lake and were perfect for my family. The check-in process was smooth. However, it would have been more convenient if the hotel had acknowledged the children in our booking by providing an extra bed for them. The location was excellent, allowing easy access to the lake, market, and shops, but unfortunately, there was no hot water in the shower. The dining experience offered a good variety of options, but the hot food chef seemed a bit too aggressive. Overall, the hotel is good value for the money.

The hotel rooms were small and down a long corridor with carpets that were long due for a clean, but my room was very large with 2 king-size beds and plenty of car parking. The location is excellent, across the road from Eat Street bars and restaurants and close to the Lake for walks and local shops. The dining experience was good, with marvellous Bircher, though a bit crowded during breakfast on X'mas day. The facilities were pleasant, and the hotel staff were friendly, pity about the weather.
